Week 5 Contact

I taught my brother about shapes this week.  There was a diamond, hexagon, moon, heart, and others but I can't remember all of them.

We learned about ancient Greece and how the would act out plays.   I learned that only boys would act.  Sometimes they would wear a mask on the front of their face and one on the back of their head so they could change parts really fast.  They would have sad masks . . .

and happy ones.

I also learned about the parthenon.  It was a Greek temple.  We made our own parthenon.  The pillars are called Doric pillars.

Inside the parthenon was a statue of the goddess Athena.

This week we read a story about the fox and the stork.  I learned that we should only treat people the way we want to be treated.

This is one of my math worksheets.  I am working on odd and even numbers and getting better at writing the time on the clock.
