Week 6 Contact

My Daddy went on a trip this week to Connecticut.  I got to find it on our map.  Here I am getting closer to finding it!

I found it!  Connecticut is a long ways away from home!

In science we learned about gases and carbon dioxide.  I learned about chemical reactions.  We mixed a base with an acid.  I was kind of nervous  to do the experiment so I let my sister go first.  She is very brave!

After my sister did it I decided I wanted to do it.  We first tried just regular temperature water.  Than we did really hot water and then cold water.  The hot water was the coolest because it made the most bubbles.  The cold water didn't do very much.

We learned about ancient Rome in History.  We made these wreaths to go on our heads.  I think they are called laurel wreaths.  My mom had to help glue on the leaves.  They were kind of tricky.

Only the guys wore the wreaths.  I think  it looks neat, but I am not a guy so I don't really want to wear it.
